Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you. Not because they are nice, but because you are.
We all experience different situations in our day – to – day life and react to them in our own unique, diverse ways. Some pleasant, some not so amicable. Its but natural that all of us here sometimes or if I may say, most of the times encounter a certain anger which makes us speak things which we may regret later on or which may make other people judge us negatively.
People may hurt you which somewhat defines their nature. How you act or react is what makes you who you are. What we really need to understand here is that we can control our tongue in a circumstance which has an influx of negative emotions.
Think of yourself at the receiving end of a rude comment by your friend. Wouldn’t it hurt you?
Similarly, when you are rude to your friends or parents or even teachers, they being human too, feel the pain of your ill-temper.
The more polite you are, the stronger your character is considered to be. People love and respect you more than a person who lacks courtesy. You come across as a more dependable person. Moreover, others look up to you and speak highly of you.
Think about the repercussions of being rude. What would you think of a person who is rude to you? Would you even want to be associated to them?
A person with polite behaviour will be accepted by all. He or she will be successful everyway .We must therefore learn to be polite so as to live happily and successfully.
Well, it’s up to each and every one of you to decide for yourself and be either that someone who is loved and respected by all or be someone whom even your close ones are not comfortable with. Providing you with some food for thought, I leave it entirely to you to be what you really can be.
